Family of Four

If I didn't have time to blog before with just one child I'm not sure why I think I'll be able to keep up a blog with two! However, I will attempt to update this at least once a week um.. well, maybe once a month.
Anyway, baby Logan arrived about three weeks ago now and things are..hm... let's just say..crazy.

I had no idea that going from one to two children would be MORE than twice the work. It sounds strange because, overall, we have two pretty good kids. Leah has shown almost no jealousy, she is good at entertaining herself, and is pretty compliant. My two goals before baby #2 were met with mixed results. Goal #1 was to get Leah on a consistant schedule which has gone very well. I have never been very obsessive about her sleep - I pretty much just let her sleep when she was tired. Bedtime was "around" a certain time and naptime was "around" a certain time. "Around" meaning within an hour or so. Now, however, bedtime is 8:00 - she'll sleep 11 - 12 hours, and naptime is 1:00. Goal #2 was potty training..well, that has not been totally accomplished yet, but we are close. Logan has been a great baby so far and only cries when he is hungry. Hopefully that will continue. Also, despite the numerous sleepless nights we went through with Leah, Logan has only had one so far! All other nights he has went right back to sleep after eating. That has been a blessing.
So, baby #2 is here, things are going about as well as can be expected and I'll try to update again in a week.. or two.. maybe three?
