June Update

It's been forever again since I have updated and since the last post was mostly about Leah, I will devote this one to Logan.

Logan is now nearly three months old. At his 2 month check-up he weighed 10 lbs. 6 ozs and was 23 inches so I am guessing now he is up about 11.8 pounds or so. His naps are becoming longer and he is staying awake for longer periods of time. Night continues to go well with waking once to nurse anytime between 3:00 and 5:00. Once he slept from 8:30pm to 8:15am straight but there have been no repeat performances. He rolls from tummy to back all the time and then will roll on his side but cannot quite mmake it around to his tummy again. He is happy, smiles, and coos most of the time. His favorite person is - no doubt - Leah.

We managed to get Leah enrolled in our church day care for their preschool program. She starts July 6th and will go on Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 9:00 to noon. The benefit for me: more time to get things done around the house
running errand with one child will be a breeze
I may even be able to get some peace and quiet time
(if Logan decides to nap during this time)
The benefit for Leah: She will meet new friends and be able to socialize better
she will be learning new things (I can't keep up with her)
she will hopefully become less shy and more outgoing
